Jersey rock band Colossal Street Jam has just announced the release of an upcoming new single entitled Just Take Hold.  The new single follows CSJ’s release of Living Free, a terrific album that we reviewed here last January. (You can read our review here). Speaking on the release of the upcoming single lead singer Gene Potts had this to say:

“Speaking for the band we are beyond excited for this release. We are in the midst of recording it now and we are doing that at High Voltage studios in Red Bank (New Jersey). The tune is a rocking track and I would consider it an ode to jam bands. Our fans can look for the single to released in October of this year. I think they will be pleased.”

Guitarist Sal Marra echoed Potts’ sentiments adding this: “This is a cool track for sure. It will get the people moving. I know it gets us moving.”

Living Free was a phenomenal album and we would expect nothing less on Just Take Hold. Stay tuned.
