We are incredibly sad to report the passing of the musical legend, Prince. He died earlier today at the age of 57 at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota. Prince is remembered as being one of the most innovative and musically talented artists of our time. Born “Prince Rogers Nelson” on June 7, 1958, Prince was recently hospitalized with the flu, sparking rumors about his health. However, last week–in reaction to rumors of his health–the icon stated, “Wait a few days before you waste any prayers.”

Prince leaves behind an amazing musical legacy which includes 7 Grammy awards and an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He also performed at the Super Bowl in 2007 and overall he has sold more than 100 million records in his career. He was beyond question a brilliant artist.

This is yet another sad day in music and there have been too many of those lately.
