“There comes a day when you realise turning the page is the best feeling in the world, because you realise there’s so much more to the book than the page you were stuck on.”
― Zayn Malik
Former One Direction member Zayn Malik is again in the news. Last week we reported that Malik–who left the mega band in 2015 to go on his own–had agreed to co-produce a TV series about the group. You can read that blog here. Now, Malik is set to release an autobiography about his childhood, his time in One Direction and, his post-1D solo career. The autobiography is simply called “Zayn.” (Publisher: Penguin Random House)
Zayn, which will be part memoir, will detail his life along with illustrations and never-before-seen photographs. In the introduction Malik writes, “I’m going to show you as much as I can so that you can judge me on my own terms, not on what the press or anyone else says.” The publisher said Malik’s book will also explore his “normal childhood” in Bradford, England, a northern city with a large South Asian community.
Zayn is due out on Nov. 1 and is available for pre-order on Amazon.
