UPDATE: A.C.—ON “TROP” OF ITS GAME

Remember that we recently told you about efforts that would bring significant improvements to Atlantic City which would include the inclusion of various musical venues.

You can read that blog here.

As a follow up, now there appears to be further movement in the city by the sea that might just indicate that resuscitation may indeed be a reality.

Tropicana owner Carl Icahn has invested considerably in the casino starting in 2010 however, new improvements costing $50 million dollars are slated for completion by this Memorial Day weekend. These improvements will not only continue Trop’s premier presence in A.C. but they will also hopefully bolster the overall allure of the City. New features include an outdoor light show on the facade that will be visible for miles.

For the music industry the viability of A.C. can only be a good thing as it remains an important hub for performers of all kinds. So, it seems like the odds may indeed be changing. Hopefully, that’s the end game at play here.
