We recently reported on the unfortunate accident suffered by the Foo Fighters’ iconic frontman, Dave Grohl. You can read that story here.  (If you remember, during a performance of Monkey Wrench in Sweden, Grohl fell 12 feet dislocating his ankle “and snapping my fibula like an old pair of take out chopsticks,” Grohl would later write). So, with much anticipation of the Foos’ July 4 concert in our Nation’s capital, there were serious questions about whether or not the show would go on.  However, a Tweet appearing on the band’s account suggests that indeed the show will go on.  The band Tweeted:

FF

Can’t f***ing wait for the 4th!!! See you at home, DC.

This is great news for Foo fans because the RFK Stadium show will be a big one.  Not only does the show have significance because of the national holiday but it also will mark the band’s 20th anniversary.  With plenty of special guests in tow this should be a blowout bonanza.  Way to go Dave.  You again deliver for your fans like nobody else.  Fooey on the naysayers!
