The United States has “Air Force One” and the epic metal maniacs–Iron Maiden–have “Ed Force One.” Touche. So, ahead of Maiden kicking off its Book Of Souls tour next week in Florida (the tour starts on February 24 at the BB&T Center in Ft. Lauderdale), we thought we would check out Maiden’s digs in the air. Indeed, they are impressive. In fact, it they are mind boggling.
In fact, check out this walkaround that the band just dropped on Periscope of “Ed Force One.” Amazing to say the least.

The video was shot at the Cardiff Airport in Wales and it is almost unfathomable to think that lead singer Bruce Dickinson will be piloting this big bird while on this tour but yes, it’s true. But then again, Dickinson has been flying for quite a while and he even worked as a charter pilot and also flew British soldiers home from Afghanistan on a plane chartered by the Ministry of Defense.
Quite a talent Mr. Dickinson is both on stage and thousands of feet above it.
